Will the team that filmed and edited the demos/weddings I’m watching be the same team doing my wedding?
Will the team that filmed and edited the demos & weddings I’m watching be the same team doing my wedding?

Yes. From you first contact with us through videoing, editing and finally collecting your completed wedding DVDs you will be dealing exclusively with Tony and Wendy.

Is the footage I’m watching from recent weddings or from the distant past?

Whether you come to our studio or view demo footage on our website you will be seeing footage from recent weddings. We will always show you current footage so that you can see the style and presentation that you will enjoy in your own wedding DVD.

How long will my wedding DVD run for and what exactly is included?

Depending on which package you choose your wedding DVD will run somewhere from 50mins to 1hr 45mins, or longer if you like. Please see our package prices for more information.

Will the camera team be attending the rehearsal?

If you would like us to attend your wedding rehearsal you can choose to include this as an option in your wedding package.

Why choose video to remember your day?

There is no other way to capture the true feeling and emotion of your day like video. Photos are a great way to preserve those radiant moments in time, but they are limited; they are just a static image of a particular point in your wedding day - no matter how skilfully they are presented, photos are limited by the very nature of the medium.

Only video has the ability to capture stunning moving images and equally as importantly, the audio from your day. How else will you remember the tremble in your voice as you say your vows, or what was said in the speeches when you are celebrating your 30th, 40th or 50th wedding anniversary?

Why does professional wedding video production cost what it does?

Professional wedding videography still remains one of the most undervalued wedding services in Australia. Think about it like this:
Your wedding video production will involve many thousands of dollars in equipment. In addition to the camera equipment, there are a variety of microphones as well as professional video tripods.

The professional videographers will then be with you for up to 12 hours (more if preps are videoed too) working in challenging and ever-changing conditions. This is not a feature film with the luxury of multiple takes – this is your wedding, a once-in-a-lifetime event, where there is only one chance to get it.
And that’s just the beginning for the videographer. Once the footage is captured the real work begins. Depending on the package and final product, a wedding video DVD can take up to 40 - 50 hours to edit from start to finish, on many, many more thousands of dollars worth of equipment.

So put into perspective, a trained professional works on your wedding video, using tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, for over 60 hours! With the exception of the photographer, there is no other service used on the day that comes close to devoting that amount of time to your wedding. How much would it cost for a hire car and chauffeur for 60 hours...?

Why can some videographers off cheaper packages than others?

The adage "you get what you pay for" certainly rings true for professional wedding videography. If a video production business advertises a service that is much cheaper than the alternatives, there's generally a reason behind it.

What is the turnaround time for us to get our DVDs?

Our turnaround time is 6-8 weeks from your wedding date, assuming we have all necessary material (music selections, baby photographs etc from you.) Like all good things, they are well worth waiting for.
